Virginia Breier has been showing craft for over twenty-seven years. She has been in her current location in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco for more than 20 years. Before opening on Sacramento Street, she was a partner in "Meyer, Breier, Weiss" which was located in Fort Mason where the SF Craft and Folk Art Museum currently resides.

At any given time of year, a visitor to V. Breier can enjoy an eclectic mix of fine craft in a variety of media - both functional and sculptural. There is also a large selection of handcrafted jewelry and a sculpture garden in the back. There is usually a variety of teapots, as well as a wide selection of smaller functional pieces such as bowls, platters, and glasses. When space allows, art furniture is also offered.

Virginia Breier herself selects each piece. It is her unique aesthetic and her eye for the offbeat and "quirky" treasure that has gained her notoriety among collectors. Combining the work of contemporary artists with ethnic folk art from around the world adds a colorful dimension to the total presentation.
